We started Cowgirl Records to create a space for women & nb artists in the music industry. We’ve both been involved in music for years: Michelle on the label side, Leah on the media side, and decided to take up our own reins ;)
Our mission is to create a supportive environment for artists to release their music, with the help of our diverse industry backgrounds. We’re not about making music “sell-able.” We’re not here to tell anyone what to do. Our focus is on experimental pop, country, and punk, but we’re open to pretty much anything. We just want to put what we love into the world. ︎
